Quotes and pricing: All of the prices listed in LivingBeast’s price guide are base prices and may rise depending on the character you want to be made. When commissioning, you must contact LB through either their email ([email protected]) or their social media in private message.
Rights to decline: LivingBeasts has the rights to decline commission applications.
Harassment during the commission process is not tolerated.
Contact: For a commission LivingBeasts requires to know your legal name, address, and phone number in order to ship your item. (I will not contact you through the phone number, it’s for shipping purposes.)
Contact info is also required. Preferably email and social media contact.
Payment: Payment is done with Paypal for international orders. Clients from Norway also have the option of paying with Vipps or bank transfer.
Alternatively card payments can be done through Etsy, after the quote is completed. Although this option does not support payment plans and needs to be paid in full.
Downpayment: You have the option of paying over time with a payment plan for any commission. LivingBeasts requires a minimum of 25% non-refundable payment up front. The materials are ordered when the client has paid 50%.
The client has a security guarantee through Paypal’s Goods and services option. Late payments may result in a late completion and/or shipping. Multiple fails in payment may result in a cancellation.
Wait list/que: During commission openings with multiple slots, you will be put in a que. The person who's paid in full first will be put in the que first.
During the waiting time for materials to arrive LivingBeasts may work on other projects.
Measurements: Some commissions require that the client provides their measurements. LivingBeasts is not responsible for an incorrect fit if uncorrect or no measurements are given.
It is recommended to not order fursuit feet or bodysuits if you’re still growing or expect weight/muscle/body changes in the near future.
Character design and colours: LivingBeasts will try their best to find faux fur and material colours to match your character. If it isn’t available, LivingBeasts may suggest the closests alternative. Keep in mind that rare colours, for ex. mint green or pastel yellow may be unavailable or cost extra.
If the client has details on their character that they find important to be made in a specific way, it is important to communicate that to LivingBeasts either through conversation or the reference. Ex. “I want this character to have a heart shaped nose,” ex. “This character is a bunny, but I want it to have a cat tail”.
Changes: We advise the client to not make changes after the materials are ordered, as the changes may result in additional charges and later completion time.
Refund policy: A 100% refund is only available before materials are ordered (with an exception of 25% downpayments). After materials are ordered only a 50% is refundable.
Due dates: LivingBeasts does not do due dates. If the client wants a commission for a special occasion it is recommended to order months in advance.
LivingBeasts can’t do rush orders, due to having another job next to costume making.
Warranty: Your costume has a warranty of 3 months, during this time you will get free repairs, provided that you cover shipping expenses or can deliver the costume to/from me.
The warranty does not cover intentional damage to the costume done by you or others, heat damage or damage caused by improper washing.

Seams may pop. This is a common thing among any fursuit regardless of the maker, and knowing some basic stitches is recommended.
Tax/customs: Your shipping company may require you to pay a customs fee for the package. Due to shipping laws, the customs document has the value of your item written on it.
Shipping policy:
The client pays for the shipping of the item ordered. The shippings costs can be paid either up front or later. The costume won’t be shipped out until all costs are covered.
This counts as well for refurbishment and repairs.
